Children are losing their childhood as they try to grow up too fast.

A 34 year old mother has lost custody of her daughter after injecting her with botox for her beauty pageant. Photos immerged of an 8 year old child with a face full of agony as her mother stuck needles into her forehead.

This mother has now felt the remorse, apologizing for her behavioiur, and telling media that she will fight to get her daughter back.

The first, major issue here is the fact that the child is being injected with botox at such a young age. An 8year old child surely does not need botox injections. However the second issue here is that an 8 year old who should be enjoying her childhood is being placed into beauty pageants.

"I know one day she will be a model, actress or singer, and having these treatments now will ensure she stays looking younger and baby-faced for longer," she was quoted as saying.

Who says that this mother is to decide if her daughter is to go into beauty pagaents and  become famous. The question still remains, does this 8 year old girl want this?
