The Famous Get Your Own Back theme tune ended and the shows host Dave Benson-Phillips bounded onto the stage as enthusiastically as ever.
"Hello and welcome to the gungiest gameshow on TV, Today we have a celebrity special for you."
The audience cheered loudly at this news and the camera panned round the studio and stopped on a shot of the gunk dunk.
"As you can see the gunk dunk as full of really nasty gunge, and at the end of the show one of our celebrities will be taking a drop into my slop." Dave laughed and smiled his trademark cheesy smile.
"It's about time we met the two teams, on the blue team we have Kirsty Gallacher and on the yellow team we have Natalie Sawyer."
Both Kirsty and Natalie walked onto the stage smiling and laughing and took their places either side of Dave.

First of all he turned to Kirsty, "Hello Kirsty, who would you like to get your own back on?"
"I'd like to get my own back on my friend Georgie Thompson." She replied
"And your reasons for that are?"
"I've known Georgie for many years and every time we go out for a drink she conveniently 'forgets' her purse so I always end up paying."
"Ok we've heard your reasoning, let's bring in Georgie."

Georgie was escorted onto the stage wearing the blue GYOB t-shirt and black shorts, she then stood between Kirsty and Dave.
"Georgie you've heard the reasoning behind Kirsty bringing you here today, what have you got to say in your defence?"
"It's just not true, maybe on one or two occasions I've forgotten my purse, but Kirsty has certainly exaggerated the story."
"Thank you Georgie, it's now time to meet the yellow team, Natalie who do you want to get your own back on?"
"My Sky Sports colleague Charlotte Jackson."
"Tell me the reason why."
"Basically Charlotte wears far to much makeup when she's on Sky Sports News, and I think it would be good for her to have a make over in the gunk dunk."
"It's time we met Charlotte, bring her in."

Charlotte was lead onto the stage, and was wearing the yellow GYOB t-shirt and shorts, she also stood between Dave and Natalie.
"Charlotte, that was a bold accusation from Natalie, what have you got to say in defence of yourself?"
"It's not my fault if I like to make myself look good before I go on TV, all the girls wear lots of makeup and I don't think I wear any more than Natalie does."
"OK we've met both teams, so now let's get on with the games, and tonight in honour of our sporting contestants they all have a sporting theme, the first game is Shootout."
The camera cuts away and a loud brash graphic appeared on the screen confirming the name of the game. After it faded away Dave was in another part of the studio standing next to Kirsty.
"The aim of the game is to score as many goals as possible in 30 seconds, Kirsty will be taking shots at the goal over there which will be defended by Georgie."
The goal was much wider than a normal goal and Georgie was wearing novelty foam gloves to try and aid her attempts to keep out as many balls as possible.
Unfortunately of Kirsty, Georgie proved adept at goalkeeping and as the klaxon sounded at the end on the 30 seconds there were very few balls in the back of the net.
Dave came back on screen to count the balls.
"Well done ladies, lets see how you got on. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, congratulations Kirsty you have won yourself 60 points.
The audience cheer, and Kirsty smiles and waves for the camera before it cuts away, to reveal Natalie and Charlotte who had now donned the foam gloves.
Natalie didn't fare much better than Kirsty, although this time it was her aim, rather than good goalkeeping that kept the scoring low, and again at the end of the 30 seconds Dave ran back on screen.
"Good effort there Natalie, lets count those balls. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, well done Natalie you have also scored 60 points."
Another graphic then appeared on the screen introducing the next game which was called "Tunnel of Terror"
"Let me explain the rules of this game, Natalie and Kirsty will have to run through this dark tunnel grabbing as many coloured discs as possible, now because of the darkness they will not be able to see which colour they have picked up, when they get to the end of the tunnel they must stick the discs on the board in front of them, for every corresponding disc to their team colour they receive ten points, but for every incorrect disc they will lose ten points. And if the darkness didn't make things difficult enough Georgie and Charlotte will be trying to slow them down by releasing streams of gunge at strategic intervals."
Once again it was Kirsty that went first, and with this game each team had 90 seconds, the clock started and Kirsty ran into the tunnel and grabbed a disc, as she did so Georgie released the first stream of blue gunge, her timing was not quite right and Kirsty heard the gunge fall in front of her and managed to avoid it, but it did have the desired effect of slowing her down and also making the floor of the inflatable tunnel slippery and as she raced towards the exit Kirsty lost her footing and fell to the ground and getting her legs and arms covered in the gunge.
Georgie could be seen laughing at Kirsty's misfortune and on the second run allowed her to pass without releasing anymore gunge, hoping that the slipperyness of the floor would work once again in her favour, but Kirsty wasn't going to fall for the same trick again and managed to pass without incident.
Then on the third run Georgies timing was spot on and the gunge cascaded down on Kirsty as she passed. The shock of the gunge meant that as she tried to protect herself she dropped the disc she was carrying and spent precious seconds scrambling around in the gunge trying to locate it again, as she did so Georgie evilly decided to use the third and final jet of gunge to compound her misery, the blue gunge hitting Kirsty on her back as she searched for the disc.
The game continued until the klaxon, at which point Dave asked Georgie and a very messy Kirsty to join him at the board.
"You look like you enjoyed that Georgie, but just remember you could be suffering an even worse gunging later in the show, but let's count those discs, there are 5 blue and two yellow, that means Kirsty you score 30 points.
It was then the turn of Natalie to take on the tunnel and she stood at the start slightly apprehensive, she had wanted to gunge Charlotte, but getting gunged herself hadn't been part of the plan.
The game started and she picked her way slowly through the tunnel and to her surprise made it to the end without any gunge falling, the same thing happened the second time and made her wonder what Charlottes game plan was.
It was a case of third time unlucky for Natalie as Charlotte scored a direct hit as she ran through the tunnel, the thick yellow gunge contrasting nicely with her dark brown hair. As had happened with Kirsty Natalie lost her footing on the slippery floor of the tunnel and crawled her way to the end clinging tightly to the valuable disc.
The final two streams of gunge also hit Natalie full on meaning that by the end of the round she was completely covered, she stood by the board with gunge dripping from her hair, she was then joined by Dave and Charlotte to count up the points.
"OK here we go, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 yellow discs, and 1, 2, 3 blue discs giving you an total score of 20 points. But let's now look at the overall scores."

Natalie and Kirsty were then lead away to the showers to get cleaned up and change their clothes before the final round which was called "Tidy Up"
"This is the final round, and with the scores so close it's a very important stage of the game. The rules are ever so simple, both Kirsty and Natalie have one minute to push as many items through the holes in this wall as possible, the will get ten points for every item on the other side of the wall when the time runs out, but on the other side of the wall we have Georgie and Charlotte who will be pushing the items back through as fast as they possibly can, and as it's the final round I'm going to award double points, so that is a total of 20 points per item."
The game started with all four contestants running about throwing all their energy into trying to, either gunge their partner, or in the case of Georgie and Charlotte, avoid the gunk dunk.
When the game ended both teams stood trying to get their breath back whilst Dave bounded in enthusiastically to count up the points.
"I'll start with the blue team, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 items there, 20 points each that's a total of 100 points."
Kirsty cheered and waved as Dave moved over to count the yellow teams items.
"1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 items giving Natalie a total of 140 points, now lets have a look at the final scores."

After the scores were announced the onscreen graphics introduced The Gunk Dunk.
The graphics faded away to reveal the gunk dunk with Georgie and Charlotte sitting, bare foot, perilously poised above the gunge.
"Welcome to the gunk dunk with these two lovely ladies poised to take a drop into my slop. Now Natalie as you did so well in the games we'll raise Charlotte up a notch."
Charlotte looked nervous as she was raised up above the gunge.
"I'll now ask a series of questions each with a sporting theme, and for each correct answer their team mate gives either Georgie or Charlotte will be raised a step further away from the gunge with the first to reach the top taking a plunge into the gunge."
"First question, who scored the winning goal in the 2010 World Cup Final?"
Kirsty and Natalie both pushed their buzzers instantly, but it was the former who was slightly quicker.
"Andres Iniesta"
"Correct, now what do we do with Georgie?"
CRANK HER UP shouted the studio audience. Georgie was then raised up away from the gunge to the same level as Charlotte, she cheekily stuck her tongue out at Kirsty as she moved.
"Second question, which tennis player knocked Andy Murray out of Wimbledon in 2010?"
This time Kirsty buzzed well before Natalie
"Rafael Nadal" she said confidently
"Correct again, crank Georgie up"
Once more Georgie moved up the ramp and now was just three notches away from the top.
Natalie answered the next question correctly and levelled things before Kirsty answered correctly to move Georgie into the lead again.
After several more questions both ladies were neck and neck just one notch from the top of the ramp.
"Here is the crucial final question, for the right to Get Your Own Back, which bowler took the wicket that won the ashes for England in 2010/11?"
Once again Kirsty was slightly quicker to the buzzer than Natalie.
"Chris Tremlett." She said almost shouting the answer
"That is absolutely correct, congratulations Kirsty, lets crank Georgie up to the top of the ramp."
The seat moved up to the top of the ramp and sparks flew signalling Kirsty's victory leaving Georgie to look down at the gunk dunk below her and prepare herself for the decent in a moment or so's time.
"Well Charlotte how do you feel? You were very close to going in but you managed to survive by the skin of your teeth."
"Relived obviously, I really didn't want to get gunged, and I've had a fantastic time today with all the games."
"Well you get to go home nice and dry, Natalie unlucky you didn't quite hit the buzzer quick enough at the end there."
"Small margins cost me my chance, but like Charlotte I've had a great time and I'm now looking forward to seeing another of my colleagues getting gunged."
"Well well Georgie, so are poised above the gunge tank, looking forward to the ride?"
"Not really, I can think of a million other places I'd rather be right now, can we just get on with it please."
"Kirsty here is your chance to get even with Georgie for all the drinks you've bought her on nights out, pull that lever and Get Your Own Back!"
Kirsty gripped the lever firmly and gave it a strong pull, Georgies chair moved forward at speed and raced towards the gunk dunk.
As momentum gathered she put her hands to her face and waited for the inevitable, the chair reached the bottom and Georgie screamed as she was deposited into the large vat of multicoloured gunge.
She landed with such force that she was completely submerged under the gunge and resurfaced almost unrecognisable from the lady that had been in the chair moments before.
Her once blond curly hair was now a soggy mess and hung limply dripping with slime.
The blue Get Your Own Back t-shirt was soaked with gunge and clung to her body accentuating her womanly curves.
Georgie began to wipe the gunge from her eyes and looked at Kirsty who was grinning like a Cheshire cat at her misfortune thoroughly enjoying the moment. Suddenly there was a deluge of gunge from above which Georgie was not expecting so was unable to avoid as it hit her on the head once again completely covering her face and upper body.
"What a gunging" said Dave "I think we should see that again in slow motion."
The replay showed Georgies facial expressions perfectly as she got closer to the gunk dunk, from a look of sheer terror at the beginning to the screwing up of her face as she landed in the gunge.
"That's all we have time for this week, but join us soon for more games and even more gunge."
The credits rolled and Georgie was helped out of the gunge to the dressing rooms where she was able to enjoy a long hot shower and regain her glamorous image.
