So it should come as no surprise that the opposition to the president, especially that coming from the Tea Party wing of the GOP, is based on racism. Despite the fact that are sound conservative reasons to oppose the president's policies (think hard, conservatives – I'm not doing your work for you), what see are innuendos about the president's race and religion, baseless assertions that he is a communist/nazi/socialist ("communist" and "socialist" have been GOP dog whistle language for "nigger" at least since the days of Martin Luther King) and hints that he couldn't have actually earned his place at Harvard, the Senate or the White House.
In the racist diatribe Birth of a Nation, D.W. Griffith depicted black legislators in the south as foolish, uncouth incompetents. This is how the Confederacy Party sees President Obama. There is reasoning with these people.
